About UsJeff Anderson with Award

Since 1870, four generations of the Anderson family have made a commitment to the quality and design of memorials. The family roots spread far and deep...as far away as Montello and Sparta, Wisconsin, but mostly in Austin and Rochester, Minnesota.

Through marriage and merger, other reputable and trusted names can be found in the family tree...Cassidy, Dieke, Abrahams, Borgen, Lilliquist and others. However, the Anderson's have maintained a continuous reputation of service for more than 140 years.

Jeff Anderson, President, is involved in every phase of the operation. But his first love and talent is in the area of personalized design. As the area's first, and one of the few Certified Memorialist in the Nation. Jeff has earned national recognition for workmanship and design, and he and Renee have and currently hold leadership roles in local as well as international industry organizations.

He and his firm have won over 20 national and international awards for design, workmanship  and public relations. His efforts and leadership in industry associations, educational schools and training sessions have done much to advance the level of professionalism in the industry, both regionally and nationally.

Jeff is a fourth generation stone carver. Having grown up in the stone trade, working with granite and marble are second nature to him. He understands well the processes and techniques to accomplish most anything in stone. Lesser known are his workings with glass, bronze and wood; mediums that he is equally comfortable with but which are not as visibly recognized as his commemorative pieces that are scattered throughout the cemeteries and public places of Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin.

His private memorial designs have appeared in numerous national publications including: Stone in America, Monument Builders News, AICA Milestone, Elberton Graniteer, and Barre Life.
